I failed to write a novel in November. I did try! I did complete two chapters of a totally wretched, but heartfelt, coming-of-age wish-fulfillment story. I like it. I will keep working on it. It is kind of fun, since it doesn't have to be good, just written! Working title: Haunted House. Yes, I'm sure that title has been used. I said "working title!"
I shall now convert my NaNoWrMo project into an Advent project. I like the idea of Advent being a quiet, introspective time. I like coming home, getting the littles to bed, and then climbing into bed myself, with my trusty notebook.
So, behind the first door of the cyber Advent calendar: failure, and the resolution (probably futile, possibly fatal) of some (who? can't remember) Beckett hero: "I can't go on! I'll go on!"
